Parliament of the United Kingdom

A referendum held in June 2016 across the UK pointed, with a slight difference in votes, to the population's preference for leaving the European Union. Since then, this has been the main agenda of the British Government, which has been trying to approve an agreement as quickly as possible, but suffering strong opposition. After three attempts and the resignation of Prime Minister Theresa May, this agreement appears to be increasingly distant, with some members of Parliament contemplating an exit without an agreement or even a new referendum. In view of the consequences of a withdrawal, be it with or without agreement, the Parliamentarians present at the House of Commons will have to debate in order to resolve the impasses and present measures and conditions so that the Government of Her Majesty can implement or postpone Brexit.
